England won the toss and chose to bat first vs Sri Lanka
England won the toss for the third time in a row, and chose to bat first against Sri Lanka, in their final T20I ahead of next week's World Cup. However, they will be missing the services of Phil Salt, who suffered a back spasm during his pre-match warm-up at Pallekele and has been replaced by Ben Duckett.
Duckett himself is back to fitness after sustaining a finger injury during the ODI series, and will slot in alongside Jos Buttler at the top of the order - his habitual position, albeit he had originally been slated to bat at No.4 in this series, a slot that has been successfully filled in his absence by Tom Banton.
Jofra Archer has also been rested with England's series win secured during the second match on Sunday. Luke Wood comes into the line-up for his first outing of the tour.
Sri Lanka have made three changes to the team that lost that second match by six wickets. Kamindu Mendis was not originally part of the squad but has been given his chance to press a late World Cup case, at the expense of Wanindu Hasaranga, who has succumbed to illness.
Dushmantha Chameera is back for his first outing of the series, replacing the injured Eshan Malinga, who dislocated his shoulder during the second match. Maheesh Theekshana is also recalled, with Charith Asalanka sitting out.
The weather at Pallekele is currently set fair, although there are a few familiar rainclouds lurking around. Each of the first two matches were impacted by rainbreaks, with England successfully chasing a revised target in 17 overs on Sunday.
