0.4 to S Dhawan, and slip is where this goes! Length ball slanting across into the corridor, and Dhawan has a bit of a poke at this. Not an attacking shot, just hung his bat out there, and slip falls forward and to his right to complete an excellent low catch. Dhawan is out for a duck, and India's wafer-thin batting could be in for a big test. 5/1

3.6 to D Padikkal, flat, fired down leg, and that's a strange sort of mix-up. Looks to sweep, and the ball dribbles out towards short fine leg. Not sure if it was bat on pad or just pad - there was an appeal for lbw, and in all the confusion, Padikkal ran out of his crease. He's sent back by his partner, but it's all too late by the time the keeper whips the bails off. 23/2

4.4 to SV Samson, gone, that wasn't very well played by Samson. Quicker ball from Hasaranga, straightens just a touch after pitching on around middle and off stumps. Stuck on the crease, looking to work it across the line, and the ball beats his outside edge and thuds into his back pad, and Samson doesn't bother reviewing. Ball-tracking says it's crashing into the inside part of off stump. 24/3 4.6 to RD Gaikwad, is that another lbw? It's given, but Gaikwad has reviewed. Seemed to be bouncing quite a bit at first glance. The wrong'un from Hasaranga, pitching just outside off and spinning past the inside edge as Gaikwad gets on the front foot and looks to defend well in front of his pad. Struck on the front pad, in line with around middle stump, and it's hitting the very top of the leg bail, so it stays with the umpire's decision. Superb delivery from Hasaranga, and he's picked up two in three balls on his 24th birthday. 25/4 14.5 to B Kumar, brilliant catch! Tossed up around off, and Bhuvneshwar looks to go over extra cover. Doesn't get the elevation but it's to the right of the fielder. Shanaka says, no problem and plucks it out with with his right hand. He had very less time to react but looks like can do no wrong tonight. 55/6 16.4 to CV Varun, another brilliant catch and Hasaranga has his fourth. The umpires though want to confirm if the catch was clean. Fuller around off, Varun flicked it uppishly towards short midwicket, at head height to Karunaratne's left who caught it but there was wobble after that it and the ball almost came out of his hands but he clung it to his chest as he fell. That's out. 63/8

8.6 to N Rana, oh my, that's a sensational return catch! It's a loopy slower ball on leg stump, and Rana, looking to clip into the midwicket region, ends up playing it earlier and straighter than he'd like, and Shanaka throws himself to his left to complete a one-handed grab. Outstanding. 36/5 15.6 to RD Chahar, short and aimed at the batter. Chahar was looking to ramp it up once again but this time he is cramped and ends up ballooning it towards the slip region. An easy catch for Bhanuka. 62/7 |

5.5 to WIA Fernando, got him, that's the second diving return catch we've seen today. Shortish, but it stops on Avishka as it spins away sharply from him. Looks to slap it through the covers after making room, but the lack of pace makes him hit it straighter than intended, and Chahar throws himself to his left to grab it in both hands. 23/1 7.6 to M Bhanuka, given! This is clearly a day for legspinners, though Bhanuka has reviewed this... lovely flight and dip, pitches on off stump or thereabouts and straightens in past the inside edge as he stretches out to defend. No bat. It's hit him on the back thigh pad. Maybe it's brushed the front pad on the way too, not sure. But Bhanuka will have to go either way, it's hitting the top of off stump according to Hawkeye. 35/2 11.6 to S Samarawickrama, bowled 'im! With the last ball of his spell. Was a top spinner that went straight through the gate as the batter was stuck on the back foot. No turn at all and it hits the top of the middle. 56/3
