93b to AM King, good length and angled across off from around the wicket, she stays deep in her crease and slaps it straight to the fielder at point, takes a gem and was vigilant, flurry of wickets at the death as Rockets looked to finish it on a high, just not been to tee off the way they started the innings. 134/6

36b to NAJ Wraith, over the wicket, touch short and skids on towards middle, she shuffles across for a lap sweep and is unable to connect, You Miss, I Hit, middle-stump disturbed, went too far across and missed the line, good little cameo. 62/1
39b to BF Smith, back of a length on middle, latches onto the pull and finds the fielder at deep midwicket! It was a long-hop and there to be hit out of the park, it sounded like she got all of it but Gibson has taken a splendid running catch, swooping to her right and snaffling it above her head, excellent comeback from Spirit. Wickets could help stem the run-flow. 63/2
86b to H Graham, over the wicket, darts in quick on a fuller length outside off, heaves it with aplomb but finds Gibson at long-on who has been a livewire in the field, pockets the catch low, second stunner today, sharp reflexes again and brilliant athleticism once again. Ran to her left and plucked it out of thin air. 129/4
87b to EWS Jones, Perished on the first ball! Some gyration in the channel, tries to thump it up and over mid-off, that is a fabulous catch too, sprinting back and grabbing it nonchalantly, Dean with a superb catch, full ball aimed at her body, a rushed stroke, bit of a leading edge involved. 129/5

81b to A Gardner, over the wicket, length and holds its line on leg, she slinks back and goes for a full-throttle pull and gets plenty of elevation but not the requisite distance, finds fielder to perfection at deep square, Griffith hangs onto it brilliantly, making the catch look easy. Wonderful hand, stuck to her guns and seems like the plan for the whole team is not to knuckle under and just keep forcing your way back, wicket looks good for a big total. 123/3

24b to KM Chathli, big deflection and a loud noise as she plays away from the body, chasing the wide fuller length delivery and gets hoodwinked by the wide one, just off the toe and neatly taken by the keeper. 26/1
1561420.931000
33b to GP Redmayne, floated up on a length and angles it on middle, she skedaddles down the track and miscues the skier, finds long-on, no damage done after the catch drop by the keeper, Spirit in early trouble while chasing this stiff total. 36/2
75b to CE Dean, good length and skidding on from outside off, charges and tries to pulverize this over cover but is unable to find elevation, they have to go for big shots...didn't work this time. 95/7
1523012.004100
57b to DR Gibson, dangles a shorter legbreak again and gets marked turn outside off, stays back and chops it away but this time finds the fielder at backward point who makes no mistake, just takes a few steps forward and takes a sharp catch. 67/5
20101540.751010
51b to GM Harris, around the wicket, looped up fuller and follows her leg-side movement, she remains committed to her shot and slog sweeps it straight into the hands of deep square, another untimely wicket and it's not working for Spirit. 61/4
76b to S Glenn, Around the wicket, tosses it up on a slightly fuller length and gets it to drift in towards middle, tries a slog sweep and gets hit on the pads, vociferous appeal for an lbw and given straightaway by the umpire. Sent upstairs for further examination. Nothing on the ultra-edge, third ump says keep rolling through. Hits her high close to the midriff. Still waiting. Pitching in line, impact is also in line and hitting the top of middle stump and she had faint hopes, was near the rope and quickly goes back into the hut. 95/8
93b to E Gray, gobbled by the fielder at cover! Back of a length on middle, change of stance and pulls softly to the fielder inside the ring, adds 9 and tries to prevent a big dent to their NRR. 115/9
95b to CR Knott, slower ball on a good length that spins away extravagantly from leg as she tries to clobber it over square leg and ends up getting stumped, nifty piece of glovework. Trent Rockets are on the board and get their first win of the season, did it quite convincingly. 116/10
2052821.404000
43b to CL Griffith, just when I was raving about her pyrotechnics, she miscues the shot down the ground and finds the fielder at mid-on, just when they were trying to get back in the game, she gets a top-edge, Spirit needed her to continue in that aggressive fashion. 53/3
62b to IECM Wong, gobsmacked by the slower nip-backer and it rip through the stumps, dreadful rattle means she has to go back to the pavilion, wheels are coming off fast. 70/6
