He shuffles across and tries to negate the short of a length ball across the line, closes the face of the bat early and finds the outside edge straight into the hands of Cornwall at first slip.. 6/1 17.1 to SE Rutherford, Jewel Andrew takes a spectacular catch! Back of a length ball angling away wide outside off, Rutherford opens the face of the bat and tries to slash it over the covers, thick outside edge. Pace off fuller length ball in the slot on the off stump line, bends down and plays the slog sweep, connects it hard and flat towards wide of deep backward square leg. Fabian Allen sprints in to his right side and commits to a fully stretched dive, almost flying in to grab that low catch before hitting the ground.. 110/4 18.3 to DR Sams, uprooted the off stump! 2.2 to RRS Cornwall, Massive appeal turned down! Slight fuller length ball on the off stump line, nips back in just enough to beat Cornwall and hits the side of the back pad. The umpire is not convinced, and Rovman opted to send it upstairs. Was there bat involved? There were two noises, though. Oh dear! The ball tickles off the inside edge of the bat, brushes off the side of the off stump, did not dislodge the bails and then goes into the gloves of QDK! No pad involved, but it doesn't matter.
