Lobs towards long on and Wolvaardt, moving smartly to her right, takes it in front of her face.. 165/5 17.6 to A Gardner, miscued a mile up, and Gardner bites the dust! On a length outside off. Gardner skips down and tries to smash this into next week. Gets under it too much and the ball also skews off the toe-end. 10.4 to SFM Devine, goes straight up, and taken! Devine falls five short of an amazing hundred, and the DC flags are flying in the stands! Back of the hand slower ball, on a length on leg stump. Plenty of over-spin on this and a bit of extra bounce. Devine has a wild whoosh at it and the ball goes a mile up. Charani settles under it in the short fine leg region and then dives forward to complete the catch. Ahuja does not quite pick it and even if she does, she does not adjust. Swings herself off her feet after advancing and misses, unsurprisingly. Lee is quick to whip off the bails and Ahuja cannot haul her bat back down in time!. 209/8 19.5 to RS Gayakwad, two in two, and Nandani is on a hat-trick now! Zipped in on a length on middle stump. Gayakwad gets caught on the crease and her bat comes down at an angle too. The ball breezes past the bat and then thuds into middle stump. Nandani on the verge of something special now!. 209/9 19.6 to Renuka Singh, Issy Wong, Deepti Sharma, Grace Harris and now Nandani Sharma! A hat-trick for the youngster, and catch her now if you can! On a length just outside off. Renuka walks across, trying to lap it fine. Gets it all wrong, though, and the ball thuds into leg stump. Raw emotion etched on Nandani's face. What a moment for her. 8.1 to BL Mooney, snapped up on the second attempt, and Charani breaks through! Tossed up full on middle and off. Mooney advances but gets too close to the ball. Shanks it a touch and is unable to get under it fully. Arrows it back at Charani, who juggles it once to her right but ensures the catch is taken. Sharp reflexes - both to get a hand to it and then to react on the parry, and DC finally have a wicket!. 94/1 11.1 to G Wareham, is that a bird, is that a plane? No, it is Jemi flying through the air! Looped up full outside off. Wareham looks to drive but is not to the pitch of the ball. Does not get over it. Does not get under it either and chips it towards extra cover, where Rodrigues hurls herself to her right and then takes it with both hands near her right shoulder. 19.2 to JI Rodrigues, plonked off the glove, and this game has yet another twist! And it is Devine who has fashioned that moment for the Giants! Or has she? Rodrigues reviews! Slower ball on a fullish length outside off. Rodrigues moves across and looks for the sweep. Seems to flick the glove before also grazing the bicep through to Mooney. All eyes on UltraEdge now. The ball is very close to the glove, and there are a couple of murmurs too. Clear spike when the ball is next to the glove, says the third umpire, and Rodrigues has to go!. 204/4 19.5 to L Wolvaardt, smeared into the leg side, and Wareham does the rest! And this is some Devine intervention to turn this game towards the Giants! Slower ball on a length outside off. Wolvaardt tries to smash this into the Arabian Sea, but loses her shape. The ball also drops on her and then straightens against the angle. Shafali misses it completely and hears the rattling of the stumps soon after. Big moment!. 41/1 15.5 to CA Henry, slapped to long off, and Gayakwad has the last laugh! Much shorter on off and this does not have the pace Henry wants.
