TEAMS

Bjorn Kotze, the younger brother of former captain Deon, has been playing for Namibia since he was 19. He made an inauspicious start to his international career when he registered a three-ball duck on debut against the Netherlands. He usually bats in the middle-order and bowls useful medium-pace.

During the 2003 World Cup in South Africa he collected the wickets of Damien Martyn, Saeed Anwar and Mohammed Yousuf and batted down the order at nine or ten, where he scored 24 of his 27 tournament runs against Pakistan. He continues to impress and in July 2007 won Namibia's Player of the Year award.
