Gershon was first capped in the 1998 ECC Tournament held in Holland, although he has notmade the side since. A return to form, together with a vacant place in the sidefollowing his brother David's unavailability for Canada, meant the nationalselectors recalled him to the team. He is a useful middle order batsman andnippy change bowler.
He is the eldest brother of the captain Isaac, and also plays for Lions Lod. Gershon is married, and recently celebrated the birth of a baby girl.
