Naresh Patel is a slow left-arm bowler who has been playing in the Canadian Leagues for many years. Although rarely prolific, he has loitered around the fringes of the international scene and even at the ripe old age of 39 he still finds himself involved. Despite his longevity he has never quite been able to make the cut for any of the World Cups that Canada have been involved in and Kevin Sandher's performances in the 2006-07 Intercontinental Cup have also blocked his path.
