Robbie Montgomery was born in Taunton but grew up in Perth, representing Western Australia in junior cricket before returning to the UK. He trialled with Gloucestershire in 2014 and made his debut against Glamorgan in theT20 later that same summer and was awarded a one-year contract bewfore beiong released at the end of the 2015 season.
