38.1 to DA Warner, a wicket! Finally! Completely against the run of play, but Australia were beginning to go after everything. Goes short, angling in towards off stump, and Warner gets the placement of his pull almost right, but he doesn't quite get on top of the bounce. In the air, to the left of deep midwicket, and the fielder does well to get to the ball quicklly and complete the catch diving to his left and slightly backwards, because he had initially misjudged the flight of the ball. Good recovery there from Willey. 269/1
38.4 to TM Head, two in an over! London buses etc. Stone bowls length, targeting leg stump, and hits his target after Head clears his front leg and misses a slog. 270/2
45.3 to SPD Smith, takes a big step across to the off side early, and Stone responds with a back-of-a-length ball that follows his movement. Looks to help it to fine leg, and gets a little tickle of glove to the keeper. Only Buttler really appeals, and Paul Wilson raises his finger to send Smith on his way. Buttler was actually making the review gesture just as Wilson was beginning to raise his finger. 324/4
47.2 to MR Marsh, full slower ball outside off, and the attempted big hit over extra-cover/mid-off ends up as a slice over the cover region. Extra-cover does well to move to his left and get under it with a tumbling finish. Dawson the fielder. 347/5
916607.33206121
1007517.50162300
42.3 to MP Stoinis, and he'll have a wicket to show for it. Flat length ball straightening along a middle-stump line, and Stoinis slogs and fails entirely to line it up. Thick edge balloons in the air and lands in backward point's hands. 292/3

2.4 to DJ Malan, edged, caught behind! Pushed across full outside off, Malan goes for a big drive and it's an inside edge that is well held by Carey going to his right. 15/1
622524.16303040
12.5 to JJ Roy, that looks out, and given! Walking right across the crease, he's almost back on the stumps as well, and it looked straight. He's gone for the review. Only height can save him. And it's umpire's call on the bails. 57/2
14.6 to SW Billings, and there's the pressure, goes for a pull against a short-of-a-length ball and the top goes straight up in the air. Simple chance for Cummins just to the right of the pitch. A wicket maiden for the captain. 66/3
804525.62266010
22.3 to JM Vince, goes for the pull again, but this time he top-edges it, straight down the throat of the sub fielder Mackenzie Harvey at fine leg. Abbott bowls a similar line to the previous ball, but it's a little shorter, and he hits the pitch a lot harder, getting it to bounce significantly higher. Vince checks his pull - he might reflect that a more full-blooded top edge may have carried all the way for six. 89/4
28.5 to SM Curran, eight down. Length ball on off stump, and Curran clears his front leg and looks to launch it down the ground. Can only get it as far as the fielder at long-off. 122/8
501813.60181000
30.3 to LA Dawson, big swing, big edge, Carey snaffles...Marsh enjoys that wicket. That was actually a pretty good catch. 129/9
5.413145.47183100
23.1 to JC Buttler, no-look top-edge, and Buttler's innings lasts just four balls. Quickish legbreak, on a length, turning away from off stump. Looks to hoick it leg side, and his eyes remain locked on the point of contact even after the edge balloons in the direction of backward point. Similar dismissal to that of Stoinis earlier in the day. Stoinis, incidentally, is the catcher, reverse-cupping as he tumbles backwards. 90/5
23.2 to CR Woakes, and Zampa gets him with the wrong'un first ball! Quick, good length, nips in towards leg stump, and Woakes, not exactly getting a stride in to defend, is beaten comprehensively on the inside edge. He doesn't bother reviewing. Front pad is pulled out of the way, and the ball hits his back pad. Would have been umpire's call on leg stump had he reviewed.. 90/6
25.1 to MM Ali, third wicket for Zampa, in 13 balls. Regulation stuff. Steps out, Zampa tosses it up on off stump. Moeen looks to take on the boundary-rider at long-off, but doesn't strike the ball as cleanly as he'd like, and picks out the fielder. 95/7
31.4 to OP Stone, cleaned up...sweeps across the line, misses, and that is that. 142/10
