Bishan Bedi met up with old friends from across the border, Intikhab Alam and Shafqat Rana, when he went to Pakistan to visit the Sikh holy shrine Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib.

“In 1971, when we were part of the same team, the World XI, for four months on the tour of Australia, we formed a Sunday Club for entertainment,” Alam told the Chandigarh-based Tribune newspaper. “I used to sing during our Sunday gatherings, and Bishan used to love my singing. So when we met yesterday, we talked about the old times for hours, and he wanted me to sing a song.” Alam sang "When the Saints Go Marching In".
