10 - India's win in the fifth T20I against South Africa in Ahmedabad extended their consecutive T20I series wins streak to ten, which includes an Asia Cup and a World Cup. It is the second-longest streak for any team in men's T20Is, behind Pakistan's 11 between 2016 and 2018.
11 - India's unbeaten streak in bilateral series, since losing to West Indies in August 2023. It is the second-longest in men's T20Is, behind their own streak of 12 before the series loss to West Indies in 2023. This was also India's ninth successive bilateral series win at home in men's T20Is, which is another record. Earlier, Australia had won eight consecutive series at home between 2006 and 2010.
16 - Balls Hardik Pandya took to complete his fifty, the second-fastest fifty for India in T20Is. Yuvraj Singh holds the record for India with a 12-ball fifty against England in Durban in 2007, while Abhishek Sharma is now third for his 17-ball effort against England in Mumbai this year.
5 - Hardik completed 2000 T20I runs, becoming only the fifth allrounder with the double of 2000 runs and 100 wickets in men's T20Is. Virandeep Singh (Malaysia), Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe), Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh) and Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan) are the others to do so, making Hardik the only seam-bowling allrounder in this club.
4 for 53 - Varun Chakravarthy's figures in the match, the most expensive spell with four wickets or more in men's T20Is. The feat previously belonged to Yuzvendra Chahal for his 4 for 52 against Sri Lanka in Indore in 2017.

8.4 - Varun's bowling strike rate against South Africa in T20Is. It is the best strike rate for any bowler with at least 20 wickets against an opponent in T20Is. The second on the list is Jersey's Charles Perchard, who has a strike rate of 9.6 for his 32 wickets against Guernsey.
3 - This was the third time Varun picked ten wickets or more in a bilateral series - the most in men's T20Is. New Zealand's Jacob Duffy is the only other bowler with multiple ten-plus-wicket bilateral series, doing it twice (both this year).
4 - Indian batters hit a boundary off the first ball they faced - Abhishek (4), Tilak Varma (4), Hardik (6) and Shivam Dube (6). Only once before four (or more) batters have hit a boundary off their first ball in a men's T20I for India - five against England in 2021, also at Ahmedabad - Rohit Sharma (6), Suryakumar Yadav (6), Shreyas Iyer (4), Shardul Thakur (4) and Washington Sundar (4).
231 for 5 - India's total, the second-highest T20I score at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, behind their 234 for 4 against New Zealand in 2023.

13.62 - Suryakumar Yadav's batting average in T20Is this year. It is the second-lowest in a year (minimum 15 innings) for a T20I captain from a Full Member. Nabi holds the unwanted record with 11.64 in 2022.
1 - It is also the first time Suryakumar hasn't scored a T20I fifty in a year since his debut in 2021. He ended the year with a highest score of 47 not out.
3.3 overs - Overs South Africa took to score their first 50 runs, the fastest by any team against India. Previously, South Africa in 2023 and Sri Lanka in 2018 had reached their team fifty in 3.4 overs.
8 - India and South Africa have registered 200-plus totals eight times against each other - a record for most 200-plus totals against an opponent in men's T20Is.
