12 Number of teams to have won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, with Jharkhand being the latest. Baroda, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Mumbai have won the title twice, while Tamil Nadu have won three times.
Thursday was Jharkhand's maiden appearance in a final in the competition's history. They had won a senior domestic title only once before - the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2010-11 season.
262 for 3 Jharkhand's total against Haryana in the final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26. It is the highest total by any team in the final of any T20 tournament, bettering Italy's 244 for 4 against Romania in 2024, during the Group A final of the Sub-Regional Europe Qualifier.
Jharkhand's total is also the second-highest by any team in a T20 playoff or knockout game, behind only Somerset's 265 for 5 against Derbyshire in the quarter-final of the 2022 T20 Blast.
1 Jharkhand's 262 for 3 against Haryana is their highest total in T20s. They went past the 200-run mark on five occasions in this tournament, the second-most in a single edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
Punjab's seven 200-plus totals in this tournament are the most by any team. Jharkhand had only three 200-plus totals before the tournament, and one of their five 200-plus totals in their victorious campaign turned out to be the highest successful chase in the tournament's history.
2 Ishan Kishan became only the second batter to score a hundred in a final of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Anmolpreet Singh was the first, having scored 113 for Punjab against Baroda in the final of the 2023-24 season.
Kishan's hundred came in only 45 balls, the third-fastest by any batter in a tournament final in men's T20s. Mitchell Owen's hundred in the final of the 2024-25 Big Bash League came off just 39 balls, while Austria's Karanbir Singh scored a 44-ball ton against Romania in the 2025 Budapest Cup.

All five of Kishan's hundreds were scored as the wicketkeeper. Only Quinton de Kock (seven) has scored more hundreds as a keeper in men's T20s. Kishan was the captain on four of these five occasions; no other man has more than two T20 hundreds as a keeper-captain.
455 Runs scored by Jharkhand and Haryana in Pune on Thursday, the biggest aggregate in a playoff or knockout game in T20 cricket. The previous highest was 445 runs between Mumbai and Vidarbha during a quarter-final at Alur in the last edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The two teams collectively hit 33 sixes - 20 by Jharkhand and 13 by Haryana - also a record for a T20 playoff or knockout match.
517 Runs scored by Kishan in the tournament are the third-most in an edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, behind Devdutt Padikkal's 580 in 2019-20 and Rohan Kadam's 536 in 2018-19.
Kishan's hundred in the final was his second of the tournament. He previously scored one against Tripura. He had scored two hundreds in the 2018-19 season as well. Seven batters have scored multiple hundreds in an edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali, with no one making three.
22 Wickets for Jharkhand's Sushant Mishra in the tournament are the joint-most by a bowler in an edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Rajasthan's Ashok Sharma also took 22 wickets in this tournament. Anshul Kamboj's 21 scalps for Haryana are next on the list, equal with with Lukman Meriwala's tally in the 2013-14 season.
303 runs & 18 wkts Anukul Roy's overall numbers in the tournament. Only Harshal Patel (374 runs and 19 wickets in 2019-20) has previously scored 300-plus runs and taken 15-plus wickets in a single edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy before him.
Anukul also took nine catches across the eleven matches, in addition to his 303 runs and 18 wickets. Only three men have done all three (303 runs, 18 wickets and nine catches) in a T20 tournament before him.
Anukul scored 25-plus runs in a match on seven occasions and also took multiple wickets in seven games. Only two other men have done this double in a T20 tournament.
20 Hundreds in this tournament, the most in any T20 tournament, surpassing the 17 scored in the 2017 T20 Blast. The previous highest in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy was 14 during the 2024-25 season.
1884 Sixes hit in the tournament, also a record for any T20 tournament. The previous highest was 1855 sixes in the last edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The 2025-26 season also became the fastest-scoring edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, with a run rate of 8.59, surpassing the 8.57 in the 2024-25 season.
