A stylish left-hander, Tom Clark made his England U-19 debut in the 2019 tri-series against Bangladesh and India and held down a spot in the side for the rest of the summer. An alumnus of Ardingly College, he made his Championship debut for Sussex in the final game of that season, and subsequently earned his first professional deal. Clark was a handy seamer until injury curtailed his bowling, with the teenager priding himself on his fielding skills to make his mark in all phases of the game.
