46.3 to D Ramdin, edged and gone Ramdin, for some reason, steps away to try and a swing a length ball through the off side and nicks off. Poor decision really, just run the singles and let Bravo do the hitting. 223/7 48.1 to DJ Bravo, swung straight up in the air, this is coming down with snow on it and well taken by Bopara at extra cover. It hung up in the air for an age but Bopara steadied himself well and clung on going slightly behind himself, a jolly good grab and Bravo's fine knock is over. 232/8
10 | 1 | 48 | 1 | 4.80 | 38 | 7 | 0 | 3 | 0 | |
45.4 to DJG Sammy, cracked straight to point and England strike at a good time. It was short and wide really but Sammy couldn't have picked out the fielder better, he's upset and rightly so, given it away when he was moving along well. 220/6
10 | 1 | 54 | 1 | 5.40 | 33 | 2 | 4 | 1 | 0 | |
39.5 to KA Pollard, got him! Heaved into the deep but it went more up then long and it's easily taken by Anderson, in fact not that much in the deep, he came in off the rope because it was that much of a miscue. The bouncer eventually works against Pollard and that's a vital strike for England at an important time. 179/5
10 | 1 | 49 | 1 | 4.90 | 36 | 3 | 3 | 0 | 0 | |
14.4 to CH Gayle, flat delivery, not much turn and there's a big lbw appeal ... it's given but Gayle immediately reviews it. Swann was pleading, imploring for that decision and Tony Hill gave it after an age. There's definitely bat involved but was it pad first? There's no doubt the ball was going on to hit. It's practically impossible to tell if the ball squeezed on to the pad via the bat or the other way around. Perversely, the crowd probably don't want him to go ... but he has to, as the decision is upheld!. 63/1
9 | 0 | 43 | 2 | 4.77 | 31 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 1 | |
16.2 to DR Smith, wide-ish and Smith nicks off! The ball might have left him a touch and he went for a full-blooded mow, only to thin one through to the keeper. Bit of a gimme wicket, that, and England's decision to bowl first is looking less like the madness it seemed 10 minutes ago. 63/2 20.6 to MN Samuels, Samuels - who I was about to say looked in good nick - top-edges a brisk bouncer straight to deep midwicket! He got in a tangle against a short ball a couple of overs back but it lobbed short ... this time the miscue sailed high and not-so-handsome to the fielder on the rope. 79/4

21.2 to IR Bell, caught at cover and West Indies do at least get something. Bell went on the drive on chipped an offcutter straight to Chris Gayle at cover. Useful bit of bowling that and a lifeline for the tourists. 122/1 37.5 to AN Cook, tries to heave another one out of the ground but this time a top edge flies straight up in the air and mid-off comes across to make the catch a few yards behind the stumps. More ruthless efficiency from England's ODI captain, who has earned the plaudits again (even if he's not the dasher some wish he were). 203/2
