0.4 to TM Dilshan, and now he goes and gently hands cover an easy catch! Nothing in that shot, just reached out and lobbed the slower ball straight to the man standing in anticipation. 6/1 2.2 to ST Jayasuriya, got em! Thats a big wicket and Steyn gets his man with one that pitches just about middle and off stump and straightens as Jayasuriya gets across his stumps and is late on the shot, it looks out to the naked eye and the umpire raises his finger. 15/2
4 | 0 | 29 | 1 | 7.25 | 12 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | |
15.4 to MF Maharoof, again Maharoof backs away outside leg stump, anticipating the short ball, its short indeed but Maharoof doesn't get the desired timing and picks out the fielder stationed right back on the ropes who just steadies himself and takes it right inside the boundary. 75/8
4 | 0 | 35 | 1 | 8.75 | 11 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
19.2 to AD Mathews, gets across to paddle it but the ball is very straight and it takes the splice of the bat and goes high up in the air during which time Albie settles under it himself. 97/9
3 | 0 | 12 | 2 | 4.00 | 10 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
7.2 to LPC Silva, super catch from Boucher in front of first slip! A good fast bowler's dismissal this one, follows up the bouncer with one pitching on a length and ever so gently seaming away, luring Silva into a faulty forward defensive and the thick outside edge is pouched one-handed by a diving Boucher even as slip gets across to try and take it. 36/5 9.5 to SI de Saram, tame, very tame! Kallis pitches on a length, de Saram tries to drive over mid-off but makes a mess and the ball goes up and settles in the fielder's hands. 44/7
3 | 0 | 9 | 2 | 3.00 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
6.4 to DPMD Jayawardene, and he goes for a chancy shot and misses! Its full and quicker and Jayawardene gets early into position to try a reverse sweep but is beaten and off stump is flattened. 35/4 8.3 to KC Sangakkara, another one down! Changes the angle, comes around and lands it on a length just outside off stump, gets some turn back in and Sangakkara, trying to get across, is late on the shot and caught in front. 40/6

0.4 to GC Smith, and he's gone! Extra pace does Smith in, he sees width and reaches out to steer it over the off side but sends it down third man's throat, more of a top edge. 5/1 17.5 to HH Gibbs, leg stump takes a walk! Thats a clever slower ball from Malinga, no room at all, its very straight and deceives Gibbs as he yet again backs away, good bowling this. 100/4
3.1 | 1 | 13 | 1 | 4.10 | 12 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
1.3 to JH Kallis, you miss, I hit! Kallis walks across the stumps again, down the track too, tries to flick a dead straight delivery but misses and after a though Simon Taufel sends him on his way because he wasn't far enough forward. 7/2
