Sri Lanka complete a 198-run win over Bangladesh to do their chances of a Super Eight spot no harm. They were led by Sanath Jayasuriya's blitz of a century, Mahela Jayawardene's plucky 46, and fifties from Kumar Sangakkara and Chamara Silva as they totalled 318 for 4. Bangladesh, in reply, failed to get going as Chaminda Vaas and Lasith Malinga struck early blows and barring Jayasuriya, every bowler used got a wicket.

A comprehensive victory for Sri Lanka. All eyes now turn to the crucial Sri Lanka-India game on March 23 at this very venue.

Do join us for tomorrow's two games - thats Netherlands v Scotland at Warner Park, St Kitts and Canada v New Zealand at the Beausejour Stadium, St Lucia. For now, this is Jamie Alter signing off. Hope you've enjoyed the commentary. Ciao!

Murali to Ashraful, OUT

all over! Tossed up on leg stump, Ashraful just drops it at his feet and calls Rasel for the run, a good throw comes in from Dilshan at midwicket and Sangakkara takes it on the first bounce and whips off the bails in one swift movement and Rasel is just short of the crease, despite the full stretch of the bat forward...

Dilshan to Mohammad Rafique, OUT

short and a fraction wide of off stump, Rafique stands rooted and swings across the line, doesnt time it all and the ball soars up in the air and comes down near the deep midwicket ropes, Murali and Maharoof converge, Maharoof calls for it, Murali wants it, they both collide...looks like Murali really wants to take the catch...but in the end it settles in Maharoof's hands and neither fielder is injured..would've been ugly had they collided hard though
