Siriwardene key in another Sri Lanka win

Scorecard
Sri Lanka Women won a close game against Bangladesh Women in Dambulla, to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match limited-overs series. Once more the hosts' win was driven by an all-round show from Shashikala Siriwardene.
Being asked to bat, Bangladesh was reduced to 83 for 6 before a 71-run stand between Salma Khatun and Lata Mondal added respectability to the total. Khatun struck seven boundaries and brought up the only half-century of the innings, but fell to Siriwardene's offspin soon after. There was not much resistance offered otherwise, as Bangladesh were bowled out for 188 with five balls to spare.
Each of Sri Lanka's top seven got into double digits in the chase, but could not kick on. They lost wickets at regular intervals, and the innings followed a similar pattern to Bangladesh's: there was only one partnership of substance, 75 for the fifth wicket between Siriwardene and wicketkeeper-captain Dilani Manodara. That stand, however, was enough to carry the hosts home in the 42nd over.
The final match of the series will be played on Friday in Kurunegala.
