The Heat just left themselves with too much work to do late and despite a 55-run partnership between Harris and Neser at the end, they couldn't do enough to get over the line.

Clint McKay was brilliant with the ball with figures of 3/22 along with Shane Warne, who kept things tight in the middle overs when the game was on the line.

Earlier, Nathan Hauritz bowled very well to take 3/18 off four overs, brilliant figures in a T20 match while Rob Quiney was named Man of the Match for his hard hitting 97 off just 60 balls.
