That is the end of that then, Stars have won it with much to spare thanks to some superb batting at the top by Brad Hodge and Glenn Maxwell and then with Lasith Malinga getting his four overs through for 1/18.

Stars now have three wins as well, the same as their cross-town rivals Renegades, but have played a game more. Sixers have one win from three games and will need to get their winning touch back.
