Fall of wickets: 1-5 (Matthew Gilkes, 1.3 ov), 2-23 (Alex Hales, 3.5 ov), 3-136 (Sam Billings, 14.3 ov), 4-147 (Alex Ross, 15.1 ov), 5-158 (Daniel Sams, 15.5 ov), 6-177 (Ben Cutting, 17.5 ov), 7-185 (Nathan McAndrew, 18.5 ov)
Jason Behrendorff403418.5093120
17.5 to BCJ Cutting, fine running catch diving forward low by Agar from deep mid-wicket. Slower ball on the stumps, Cutting heaves but it loops straight up, Agar came in and then snaffled it despite a late dip on the ball. 177/6
Matthew Kelly403037.50104000
1.3 to M Gilkes, Expertly flicked straight to the fielder by Gilkes. Full on the pads and drifting down, Gilkes flicks aerially and picks out deep square to perfection. The fielder didn't have to move an inch. Kelly would feel he got a bit lucky there. 5/1
3.5 to AD Hales, got i'm! Fantastic piece of bowling from Kelly. The off-cutter bowled on a loopier fuller length, dips on Hales who tries to flick and misses, lands in front of the stumps before hitting it. Lovely shape on the ball as it came out of Kelly's hand and totally does Hales in. Thunder in trouble. 23/2
18.5 to N McAndrew, beautiful late inswinging yorker and knocks over McAndrew. Right up there at the base of off-stump, under the bat and McAndrew drives and misses. 185/7
Ashton Agar403508.7553110
Andrew Tye1.3026117.3335012
14.3 to SW Billings, end of the entertainment. Billings waves his bat and walks off to an ovation. Full outside off, Billings sits to sweep but a thin bottom-edge and it loops to Inglis who completes the catch. Billings was going for it in the Power Surge and that's a big wicket. But a fantastic knock that. 136/3
Peter Hatzoglou10303.0040010
Mitchell Marsh4050212.5076210
15.1 to AI Ross, Marsh comes back and gets Ross first-ball. Full and maybe off-pace, on off, Ross swings but misses, the ball flicks the bail and the Scorchers fighting back with wickets. 147/4
15.5 to DR Sams, loud appeal and given out lbw. This over takes another turn. Full and on the pads, Sams flicks and misses, the umpire thinks long and hard and then raises the finger. Sams is a bit surprised to see that. Was it sliding down? Maybe. HawkEye says it is hitting leg-stump. Hmmm!. 158/5

Saqib Mahmood402927.25121200
0.2 to JP Inglis, Mahmood you beauty! Golden duck for Inglis and the move to open with the keeper hasn't worked. Mahmood with a full and straight ball, with a hint of in-angle, Inglis makes the mistake of flicking across the line and is cleaned up. Mahmood roars in delight. The Thunder needed that boost. 1/1
11.1 to LJ Evans, first ball of the PS and Evans finds long-on. Was in the slot but he mistimed the loft, simple catch to the fielder and Thunder roar ahead. 87/5
Daniel Sams403017.50112120
12.4 to AC Agar, two dots and then Agar drags one on. Off-cutter on a good length outside off, Agar with a big mow to leg but gets a thick inside-edge onto the stumps. Big win in the offing for Thunder. 97/6
Nathan McAndrew4040310.0073220
3.3 to MR Marsh, flicked straight to deep mid-wicket and Marsh is gone. Full on the stumps, Marsh picks out the lone man in the deep with a flick, low catch and Gilkes doesn't make a mistake. McAndrew with a double fist-pump to celebrate a huge wicket. 16/2
3.6 to KR Patterson, straight to mid-off and the Scorchers are crumbling here. Full and in the slot for the loft, but Patterson drills it to mid-off who has no trouble in hanging on. 3 wickets in the powerplay and two in the over for McAndrew. 17/3
6.5 to AJ Turner, McAndrew with his third and he is roaring in joy. Slips in the back of the hand legcutter on a good length, Turner swipes across the line thinking it was the normal-pace delivery, it defeats the bat-swing and crashes into the stumps. 44/4
Chris Green402927.2562010
18.1 to AJ Tye, good sliding catch from Hales after running forward from long-off. Tye had to go for it and sliced the full-toss towards Hales, end of Tye who goes after a fine innings. That should be the end of any hopes the Scorchers had. 152/7
18.5 to M Kelly, Gilkes and Jason Sangha collide but the latter comes up with the catch. At the end they both have a smile. Slower and Kelly advances but miscues the loft, Sangha ran back from extra-cover and took it, Giikes wanted it too from sweeper, just a slight contact and everything is fine. 155/8
