A thoroughly professional display from the Australians here. Four more valuable points to the Australian kitty

After being set a target of 247 thanks to fine performances from Andy Blignaut and the Flower brothers the Australians took control. Gilchrist started things off with some good clean hitting. Hayden was not too far either and the Australian run rate was high. Ricky Ponting spent some time out in the middle without really being spectacular. Damien Martyn (50 not out) and Lehmann (56 not out) completed theformalities with some sensible batting

The Zimbabweans really had no answer to the cool, calculated approach of the Australians. The Zimbabweans hardly had the firepower to bowl out the Australians on a good wicket like this
