So the Deccan Chargers win a crucial game by 53 runs, Rajasthan would have been pleased with their performance in the first 15 overs when they bowled but the late onslaught from Smith took Deccan to a challenging score.

The move to bring in Chaminda Vaas worked, as he contributed with the bat before taking two crucial early wickets. RP Singh was on-song as well, and Symonds chipped in with some quick runs and tight seam-up bowling. The win helps Deccan leapfrog Rajasthan in the table, they are now in third while Rajasthan slip to fourth.

A lot of you have spotted the pattern in the points table. As Sriram from the US points out: "Notice the points table now. Top 7 team points are in sequential order starting from 14 to 8."

Post-match presentation:

Shane Warne: It was a disappointing performance. Credit to Dwayne Smith for his hitting in the last five overs. I wasn't too happy with the intensity of the side."

Adam Gilchrist: It would have been nice to have 10 or 15 runs more. Dwayne Smith batted beautifully, and the bowling was clinical. Versatility is there, which is very important for any team.

The Man-of-the-Match is Dwayne Smith. "I was thinking of getting the single, hitting straight till we got to the end. I am very happy with our form today and I hope we continue winning." He also thanks Sussex for helping him improve his game.

Thanks for joining us today and for the many mails. That's it from me Siddarth Ravindran, do log on again for tomorrow's double-header at Centurion.
