Statsman extraordinaire Mohandas Menon tweets: "Only four wkts fell at Pune. This equals the record for the least wkts to fall in an IPL match - KKR-DD, Durban09 & MI-KTK, Mumbai11."
Pune will be disappointed lose so badly after losing just two wickets when batting. Delhi are now top of the table with a game in hand.
Mahela Jayawardene: "In the last game we made a lot of mistakes, we spoke about it. Our bowlers bowled very well today, and the batting clicked as well. We are getting a lot of things right, but there are areas we can improve. It's a long tournament, still halfway to go, we can't get complacent."
Sushant: "Not rocket science this that Uthappa's innings has cost Pune the Match. Run a ball 50 on a placid batting wicket.. Appalling."
Nithin: "It was great on pune's part to reach a respectable total ... but Delhi look virtually unbeatable at the moment... it wouldnt be a surprise to see them hold this years trophy."
Vishal: "PWI paid the price for being too circumspect after early losses. Utthappa & Pandey should have launched their assault much earlier with the likes of Smith & Wright to follow after."
Shobhit Gupta and many, many others: "Can we call a spade a spade: It is an advertisement timeout."
Nadeem: "An example of how even a 146-run partnership can hurt you.."
Pravin: "I continously see Delhi being said as the favorites for winning the trophy this time. But that cannot be judged at this point of time. Delhi were in similar situation in the first IPL and Rajastan won it. Mumbai were unstoppable last year and Chennai won it."
Karthik: "Sehwag, during the presentation ceremony of his last match had said that "I should stay till 16 overs..."
He has done that today."
Time for the presentation.
Ganguly: "We lost a couple of wickets early, we didn't get enough runs, it's a good wicket, not a big ground, so 170-180 would be a par score. We were under six an over for about 13 overs and the got some runs in the end."
Sehwag: "They recovered well, but they couldn't get past 150, which is chase-able. Good to be top of the table, all because of my bowlers, they did a fantastic job."
Sehwag goes to collect his Man of the Match and walks back towards Robin Jackman, who waves him away saying he had already asked Sehwag all he wanted to. Sehwag walks off with a sheepish grin.
