Good to watch an exciting game after a couple of one-sided ones yesterday, unfortunately for the hosts, they did not get over the line. Bangalore will be breathing just that little bit easier but the fight for the top four spots isn't over by any means given that Hyderabad has a game in hand. That's it then from me for tonight, hope you have a good time ahead! Ciao, good night!

David Warner: Disappointed to lose today. Credit to the way Bangalore batted. (About Morkel's wicket of Kohli off no-ball) - that's cricket. Different from captaining for the Sixers in terms of the crowds. Always a packed house, which is a good thing.

Virat Kohli: I love playing in my home ground, wonderful to play in front of my home crowd. I thought I was gone, when I saw that no-ball. The first boundary got me going. Nervous when the last over was going on, the way it has gone last few games. My beard's greying already!

Jaidev Unadkat is the man of the match: Happy with the outcome, happy to be given the last over.

That got really close for Bangalore in the end, they would have thought it was all sewn up when Rohrer left but they kept chipping away with the some good strokes before the last assault on Rampaul left the side needing 19 in the last over. They got 14 of them.

20 for Chennai, 18 for Rajasthan and Bangalore move up to 16 alongside Mumbai. Hyderabad on 14 (with a game in hand) and Punjab on 10 are the other contenders. Interesting few games ahead then.

SriniDasari: "I remember Kapil Dev once said that getting 5 wkts is tough as scoring a hundred. Now interesting to see who will be the MoM...Kohli for 99 with 2 lives or Unadkat who took 5 crucial wickets. I am partial to bowlers though."

Sachin: "As a DD fan, I missed RP Singh badly today.."

Chris in Taunton: "Had to be a win for RCB. To get 99 run out AND lose would be a bit much!" And a five-wicket haul too.

Milan timilsina : "they send the warner in 2 man down who is opening batsman and send the jayawerdena in opening who is specialist in one man down. Warner is dangerous opening batsman soo don"t send him after two man down ..hope we can see warner and shewag as a opening for DD"

Unadkat to Umesh Yadav, FOUR runs

slower one and he's been banged back for a four through long-on which means that a fighting Delhi have lost by only four runs

Unadkat to Morkel, OUT

aww, game over, Unadkat bowls a yorker that Morne misses, it's as perfect a ball that you can ball in situation, he was swinging it there and is bowled

Morne Morkel b Unadkat 19 (17m 10b 3x4 0x6) SR: 190

Nine off the two.

Unadkat to Pathan, 1 run

fuller outside the off stump and all he can do is to dig it out and play it away to the deep covers for a single

10 off 3. He had figures of 4/11 in 3 overs and now conceded nine from three balls.

Unadkat to Pathan, FOUR runs

over the stumps, full-toss and that's been carved to the fine-leg for a four, the fielder was up inside the circle and was able to find the gap!

14 from 4.

Unadkat to Morkel, 1 run

full-toss and that's drilled straight down to Kohli at long-on, single brings IP back on strike

Three good shots in three balls have changed it around.

Unadkat to Morkel, FOUR runs

fuller and that's banged it down to straight boundary for a four! we have a match on!

19 off six. Unadkat's back on. 4/11 for the bowler.

Rampaul to Pathan, SIX runs

wow, what a shot to end the over, what a shot to keep Delhi in the game, it was bowled right in the slot for Pathan to hit it straight and he does exactly that, smashes it to over long-off for a maximum

Rampaul to Pathan, SIX runs

tonked away over the deep square-leg for a six! it was a length ball and that's hit off the middle of the bat and goes away!

Rampaul to Pathan, no run

...not that Pathan did much about it, it was outside the off stump, fuller and he gets no bat on it

Rampaul to Pathan, (no ball)

up and over and that's hit hard to the off side, they wanted a single but Morkel sends him back...why? Because it's called a no-ball and it's a Free-Hit being given, Morkel wanted Pathan to take strike...

Rampaul to Pathan, no run

shorter in length and he was looking to pull it away, this time it goes to short fine-leg where Pujara has a shy at the stumps, misses with Pathan outside the crease

Rampaul to Pathan, no run

length ball and IP was giving himself room, wanted to hit it out but it was on the middle stump line, no room to swing his arm

Rampaul to Morkel, 1 run

fuller length ball on the middle stump, he was looking to given him room and hit it over the off side, just gets some bat on it and rolls over to the off side

Rampaul to Morkel, 1 wide

bouncer down the leg side and he lets it go, wide called by the umpire

Rampaul to bowl.

rahul: "now i understand why dd changed the captain today,, probably because mahela has run out of words on their poor performance!!!"
