and its all over! Scanlon goes down on one knee and pulls the ball into the legside. Its up in the air for a very long time and Tector settles under it to take the catch.
Leinster vs NW Warriors, 4th Match at Bready, May 23 2019 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Dockrell came back into the attack to claim the final two wickets and lead his team to a comprehensive 78 run win over the Warriors.
The Warriors had two big partnerships, but the collapse in the middle order, meant that the Lightning were never under too much pressure bowling.
If it wasn't for a 54 run 8th wicket partnership between Austin and Hume then the defeat would have been a lot larger.
So the Lighting pick up a bonus point for the size of the win and stretch their lead at the top of the table to six points over the Knights.
Luckily we won't have long to wait until the next game, when the Knights will be playing the Warriors at Stormont.
Hopefully you'll be able to join me then, until then thanks for following the commentary today and I'll be seeing you on Monday.
steps forward and looks to defend, almost edges it
Scanlon is the last man in
Its a tame end for Young as he chips the ball back to the bowler, turns away in disgust but Dockrell now has three wickets
Hume goes to highest List A score as he punches the ball down the ground
thick edge down past the keeper and they come back for a couple
Dockrell returns once again and Hume greets him by smashing the ball to the long-off boundary
yet another slower ball to Young, he plays through the shot way too early and it comes through to the keeper
Young gets off the mark straight away as a short ball comes his way, pulls the ball gracefully down to long leg
slower ball, Hume sees it coming and gentle prods the ball into the legside to bring Young onto strike
defends the ball into the covers, the fielder slips but they decide against the run
Austin looks to hit the ball down the ground, doesn't get a great connection on the shot and picks out the fielder perfectly at mid-off
defends the ball back down the pitch
drops the ball down into the off-side and runs
big appeal for LBW, but it looked to have pitched outside leg
hits the ball to Dockrell at short mid-wicket, Hume had already set off from the non-strikers end and would have been out if Dockrell's throw had hit
Austin gets the front foot out of the way and late cuts the ball past Hand at short third man. Runs away to the rope
gets down low and sweeps the ball down to long-leg, not enough power to get to the rope
driven off the back foot up to long-on
clips the ball off the pads and it brings the target down to less then a hundred. Yes, they only have 30 balls to get them in
full ball, driven hard up to mid-off, the fielder gets the long barrier down and stops the ball
