After 2 drawn games we have the first winners in the Inter-Provincial Championship, The Lightning win this game bay an Innings and 67 runs.
After losing Rankin and Silva early it was a steady stream of Warriors batsmen to the crease and back again.
Some late hitting from Dougherty and Barnes pushed the score although in truth the experienced Lightning bowling was too good for the Warriors.
So the Lightning get 24 points for the win, which takes them above the Knights and to the top of the Inter-Provincial Championship Table.
The Warriors get 3 points so they dont leave completely empty handed.
The next game in the Championship is going to also be held here in Bready, starting on the 21st June. When the Knight will be the visitors.
Although we don't have that long to wait for the next Inter-Pro game, with the Warriors travelling down to Dublin to play an IP50 game on the 12 June.
Plus the first match of Ireland's International summer is two weeks today when Sri Lanka will be the visitors to Malahide for the two match ODI series.
I'm sure that everyone is hoping that the good weather lasts till then!
That just leaves me to thank you for following my commetary over the last 3 days, hope that you have enjoyed it. I know I have.
Till the next time, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Bready. Goodbye!
