0.4 to KJ O'Brien, and he's gone. This was on a good length which nips back in. Kevin O'Brien goes for the drive and gets an inside edge to pad, which ricochet back onto the stumps. 0/1 2.2 to PR Stirling, another wicket for Klaassen..both the openers are gone now. This was on a length and shaping across with the angle. Stirling throws his bat at it, gets an inside edge and an easy take for the keeper Edwards. 6/2 46.2 to BJ McCarthy, good length delivery on the stumps. He comes forward and flicks it to midwicket. There's not going to be an easier catch than this and Seelaar takes it. Ireland slip further. 154/8

9.4 to A Balbirnie, and Balbirnie is gone. This was on a good length and kept low. It angles back in from outside off. Balbirnie stays in the crease and tries to defend. Should have been onto the front foot, the low bounce beats the bat pad gap and hits the middle stump. 28/3
9 | 1 | 22 | 2 | 2.44 | 39 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 0 | |
38.5 to LJ Tucker, and he's gone now..Short of a length ball outside off, Tucker pulls it off the back foot, but not enough to clear the fielder at mid-on, easy catch for Klaassen. 131/6 40.5 to AR McBrine, appeal for lbw and he's given. McBrine reviews it..Back of a length ball, angling back in from outside off. Kept touch low as McBrine tries to block. The lack of bounce beats the bat and hits the back pad. Impact is umpire's call and hitting the stumps. He needs to walk back, Ireland keeps the review though.. 139/7

32.4 to GH Dockrell, van Beek gets the breakthrough..Short of a length and this one kept low. Dockrell tires to block it off the back foot, but the lack of bounce beats the bat and goes under it to hit the off stump. 117/4 36.3 to HT Tector, back of a length, 125 kph. This was pitched outside off and a bit of extra bounce..Tector tries to guide it towards third man region but ends up edging it back to the keeper. Gone for well made 58 runs... 128/5 47.6 to JB Little, they had a couple of reviews in the bank and they chose not to review this! Good length delivery on the stumps and it looked as if it was sliding down the leg stump line. We will have to look for the ball tracking to confirm that. This was a good delivery and the umpire had no hesitation in raising the finger, but Little, after consulting Simi, chose not to review. The replays confirm that there was an inside edge. 159/9

17.1 to SA Edwards, and the good length works. Good length ball outside the off stump. Looks to drive and gets an outside edge to slip. Stirling makes no mistakes and that's curtains for Edwards. 67/2

24.4 to Musa Ahmed, review for caught behind by Ireland! Good length ball outside the off stump. Plays it away from the body and gets a faint outside edge to the keeper. The umpire will have to change his original decision and Musa Ahmed will have to walk back. Superb decision to review. 96/3

14.4 to MP O'Dowd, and he's gone. Simi Singh with the breakthrough. Length ball pitched around off and turning in slightly. O'Dowd gets forward and tries to defend, leaves a huge gap between bat and pad, goes past the the inside edge and hits the stumps. 66/1 43.1 to SJ Myburgh, wanted to finish it with a slog sweep. Misses and is bowled. A tame end to a superb innings. One that probably got them the 10 points they were after. 158/4 45.2 to PM Seelaar, fuller ball on the stumps. Seelaar wants to sweep and he misses. As plumb as one can be. Poor choice of stroke again. Will this wicket revive Ireland's hopes ?. 162/6

44.3 to BFW de Leede, has he committed a mistake here ? Yes, he has! Flighted ball on the stumps. He comes down the track and lofts it straight into the hands of the fielder at mid on. Poor choice of a stroke but only two runs to get. Might be excused. 162/5 |
