hit down the ground but too little too late
Warriors vs Cape Cobras, 1st Semi-Final at Paarl, Jan 22 2010 - Ball by Ball Commentary
A sad end to the campaign for the home team. The Warriors bowling was tight, and once Kemp was dismissed the remaining batsmen were unable to maintain the required rate.
Much was expected of Smith and Gibbs up front but both failed and Duminy also took far too long to find his strokeplay.
Te Warriors were resurgent, and with a briliant innings from Kallis they had just enough in the tank.
So as a bitterly disappointed crowd finds its way home, that is all from Paarl for tonight.
