15.3 to SR Patel, slows this one up, Patel gets right under a slap into the sky... taken at long-off! All height and no trousers for Patel on that shot, Dawson removes him and Hants keep applying the brakes at (in)opportune moments. 122/5 17.4 to SJ Mullaney, tossed up, Mullaney aims a punishing drive... only to squirt another catch to Afridi at short third man! Dawson picks up another, Mullaney not happy with his execution but he has to go as the Star Man clings on again. 148/7

2.3 to AD Hales, shorter, cutting the fingers over it - and sliced to backward point, Hales goes! Afridi holds on tumbling to his left and Wood is off and running in celebration! Big wicket for Hants, as Hales can give you a monstering on his day. Cleverly bowled, just sat up a bit and he couldn't keep on top of his cut. 23/1 4.6 to TJ Moores, full toss wide of the stumps - chopped to short third man! Not a great delivery but Moores was swinging like a drunk at closing time, flew off the outside edge but Abbott was alert and clung on falling over backwards. 49/2

16.6 to DT Christian, full and wide, sweetly struck on the lofted drive - but slapped straight to deep cover! Abbott took some tap but he finally succeeds in removing Christian. 143/6
4 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 5.50 | 10 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
7.3 to MH Wessels, flighted, there's turn and it takes the leading edge to be caught at cover! Crane strikes with his third ball and it's another key wicket down, Wessels trying to work against the spin and presenting a dolly of a catch into the off side. 71/3
4 | 0 | 22 | 1 | 5.50 | 8 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
12.2 to BRM Taylor, gives this some extra air, it grips as Taylor hits down the ground... and sends a spiralling catch to long-off! Afridi breaks a patient stand and Notts' post-Powerplay predicament gets worse. 99/4 |

0.1 to Shahid Afridi, first ball! Boom Boom has gone bust! Dragged down short, basically a long hop, Afridi goes for the pull and can only splice it as far as deep midwicket. 0/1

17.1 to LA Dawson, finds long-on! Over the wicket, a back-of-the-hand slower ball full at the stumps, Dawson opts to try and clear the leg side but doesn't get it far enough. 140/7 17.3 to GK Berg, Wessels at long-on again! Nottinghamshire closing in. It's the slower balls from Gurney, not pace to work with, lofts down the ground and the fielder didn't have to move. 140/8 17.4 to KJ Abbott, and another! This is brilliant from Gurney. He's confounding them with the back-of-the-hand slower balls, this one is popped in the air into the off side and Christian runs round from cover. 140/9

5.6 to CM Dickinson, taken at mid-on! How Notts needed that. A short-of-a-length delivery dug into the pitch, a cross-seam cutter, Dickinson tries to clear the leg side but can only miscue towards mid-on where Christian jogs back to take the catch. 55/2 18.4 to CP Wood, all over! Finishes it with a leg stump yorker. Terrific delivery to complete an impressive bowling display. 146/10

10.4 to TP Alsop, he's done it! Lovely stuff from Mullaney. A full delivery at just 60mph, Alsop pushing forward and can only spoon the catch, low to the bowler who did well to take it diving forward. 97/3 12.2 to GJ Bailey, middle stump! Mullaney having a big say on things. Bailey swinging across the line of a length delivery, just through his shot.. 105/4 14.2 to JM Vince, picks out deep square leg! Gets down to play a pull/sweep type shot, and it's well held by Taylor. That could be a huge moment. 120/5 |
