a full toss, clipped to the leg side and Nottinghamshire win the 2017 T20 Blast
NOTTS vs Warwickshire, Final at Birmingham, Sep 02 2017 - Ball by Ball Commentary
A superb performance from Nottinghamshire as they complete the white-ball double, and having been 30 for 3 earlier on. Patel and Taylor mounted the fightback, Christian finished it off and then the varied attack always had the defence of the title under control. Outstanding control of their slower-ball variations, well captained by Dan Christian. No doubt about the limited-overs side of the season. But a word, too, for Birmingham who have shown what bringing in youth can do to a side that was struggling. A terrific overall day as well, helped by good weather and a top-class pitch. That's just about wraps things up for today. Thanks for joining us and we'll be back for the Test match on Thursday. From Alan, Gnasher and Shashank it's goodnight!

Seven wickets in the day for Gurney. Most on finals day. A superb display from him
big top edge, swinging across the line at a slower ball, flies behind the batsman and Moores settles under it. Gurney again closing out the game
gets underneath a full delivery, in the air but short of long-off as he runs in
full and straight, slower ball, pushed to cover on the edge
What has Chris Woakes got? Not on strike straightaway. Actually, yes he is. Batsmen didn't cross
finds cover! Over the wicket, low full toss outside off, takes the bottom of the bat and goes no further than the edge of the circle
Two overs. 34 runs.
More than 1000 runs in the three matches today. Has been an excellent pitch
