8.4 to JN Malan, DESERVED WICKET FOR WASIM! Tossed this up a bit slower, and wider, and Malan chipped down the track to try and work it towards midwicket. Missed it by a country mile, and Rizwan did the rest. Good start to his T20I career for Malan, but the breakthrough that Pakistan desperately sought. 58/1

16.1 to HE van der Dussen, full ball, and he tries to go down the wicket and skews it up...and long off takes it! Wasim settles under it and takes it comfortably Good wicket at this stage, as van der Dussen was looking dangerous throughout. 126/3

3.6 to Fakhar Zaman, against the run of play, Beuran has struck! Fakhar sized up a bouncer and aimed for the bleachers, but he got underneath it and could only get the ball as far as Janneman Malan at deep square leg. South Africa really needed this strike. 45/1 16.1 to Babar Azam, short, and he has latched on to it...but it has carried to midwicket! Slower ball, that grips, and he looks for the release shot, but is effectively going against the turn, and ends up lobbing it up in the air. Is that the ballgame gone for Pakistan?. 147/2

18.3 to Hussain Talat, BOWLED HIM! Full, and straight, at 130kph, and Talat swings across the line, praying that he connects! He can only get a little inside edge, which takes the ball right back on to the stumps. Important wicket at this juncture for South Africa. 168/4 18.6 to Imad Wasim, mid-stump goes flying! Full, straight, fast. No chance for Imad once he missed contact. If he had hit it, it might have flown straight over long on, but as it turned out, he was making contact with air. Is this the decisive over from Morris?. 174/5

17.3 to Asif Ali, short ball, slow through the air, and he drags an attempted pull short, and straight down the throat of Reeza Hendricks at midwicket! Another twist, eh?. 158/3 19.4 to Shoaib Malik, length, and he has gone across the line, and holed out! It was slower through the air, bowled with the knuckles, and he ended up top-edging a swing across the line, and it carried more or less straight to van der Dussen at backward square leg. 180/6 19.5 to Hasan Ali, swings, and misses! Full, fast and straight at the leg stump. Hasan was making way to go inside out, but was just beaten by the sheer pace and accuracy of this. 180/7 |
