That's it. Both the captains have agreed to call off the game. The players shake hands and head towards the pavilion. Both sides will claim positives out of this Test. India will be happy with their batting and would be thinking about how close they got to a win while Pakistan will take heart from the escape and go into the last Test with a hope of leveling the series.

Hang on for the presentation ceremony.

Man of the Match : It was between Misbah and Wasim Jaffer and it has been awarded to Jaffer:

Jaffer: There is always pressure when you play international cricket and against Pakistan but I am happy with the way these two Tests have gone. The pitch was turning but slow. I just try to play according to the merit of the ball and it just went my way.

Younis Khan: We are happy with the way we fought back, in the end of the first innings and in the second. India won a good toss and played really well to make over 600. When Misbah and Kamran fought back ,we were confident that we can draw this game. We will try our best at Bangalore.

Kumble: It was a pretty flat track. It was tough for the bowlers but our bowlers did well. There were a few moments, a few dropped chances ... Misbah and Akmal played really well in the first innings and Younis in the second. We were in a fantastic position at the end of the day three but if the pitch had more pace and bounce for the spinners, it would have helped. We are looking forward to the Bangalore Test match. Wasim Jaffer has been batting brilliantly and he carried on to a double ton, Bhajji bowled really well to get a five-for. I am enjoying the captaincy stint, it would have been nice to win this one but am looking forward to the next Test.

This is Sriram Veera, signing off. I had great fun in bringing this match to you. Thousands of emails poured in and I regret that I couldn't post many of them up. There were quite a few abuses too on that regard! Chalo then, it's time to hit a pub. Shab bakhair!

Well played Younis. A captain's knock. Reaches his 15th Test ton with a reverse sweep! It was outside leg stump and he reverse swept it through backward point. The helmet comes off, the bat is raised towards the dressing room and then to the crowd who cheer for him.
