the last ball hurries through and Vitori can't connect with the pull. Pakistan take the series 3-0 and that's a well-deserved clean sweep.
Zimbabwe vs Pakistan, 3rd ODI at Harare, Sep 14 2011 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Misbah and the boys look a genuinely happy bunch as they come along to pose with the trophy. Well played Pakistan! Firdose's report has all the ebbs and flows of today's game. That winds up our coverage for the ODIs, but the T20s are round the corner. Do join us for them. On behalf of the gang at ESPNcricinfo, this is Nitin Sundar signing off. So long.
Younis, however, wins the Man of the Series award. "We had a tough series, the Zimbabweans gave us a tough time and I believe they will have a good team in the future. Before the series, the seniors sat together and hoped to deliver and show the way for the youngsters, and I am happy we could do that." He laughs when the T20s are mentioned! "If I am given the chance I will contribute again for my country," he says.
Cheema pips Younis Khan to pick up Man of the Match Award. Cheema thanks his family for his success in this series. "All the hard work I did in the last 10 years have borne fruit. The coach, captain and team have stood by me and I am thankful. I just tried to hit the right lengths, and it worked."
Misbah; "Good to see new boys coming in and performing. The main idea was to give a couple of youngsters chances, and win the series. We achieved that well. We were around 25-30 runs short, they bowled well in the last 7-8 overs. But happy with the way we bowled and fielded. There might be one-two changes to ensure we have the right balance for the Twenty20s."
Taylor: "There were too many dot-balls at the start which made it tough for people coming in. Good teams make it tough for you to build on a platform, and Pakistan played the better cricket today. Our bowlers showed good heart in the middle and end overs, but they came out and made it difficult for us."
Handshakes all around. Zimbabwe will look back at this game, and in fact this series, as an opportunity missed. The should have won the first game, and they were in a really solid position in this one when Taibu and Masakadza were going. Pakistan did their bit to bring the pressure on, credit to them.

you won't see too many of those shots. Pulled through cover, inside out. Short ball well outside off, and he was so late on the shot it ballooned up over the covers. The "ducking off-bunt" is how the TV commentator puts it.
