5:41pm That brings us to the end of our coverage for this game. But don't go anywhere, there is some Men's Hundred action lined up, expected to kick off inside an hour. You can follow that game here. Until next time, from Sudeep and myself (Shashwat), this is goodbye!

5:37pm A much closer game than yesterday, with Sciver-Brunt keeping the Rockets' hopes alive. She starred with a half-century but there was not a lot of support for her, especially once Smith departed after his powerplay pyrotechnics. That meant Sciver-Brunt had to do a lot of heavy lifting, and the Phoenix, courtesy some well-crafted plans, were able to sfitle the scoring rate.

Speaking of the hosts, their fielding was largely spotless, with Baker's dropped catch perhaps the only blemish. They also bowled to their fields well and used the ground dimensions, with Baker and Taylor's spells through the middle sucking the air out of the Rockets' run-chase.

1
Arlott to Jones, 1 run

Arlott gets this to land, and the Birmingham Phoenix hold on for an 11-run win! Zipped in full on leg stump. Jones backs away and drills it towards long on. A single to end proceedings, and the Phoenix are on the board at the first time of asking!

Arlott to King, (no ball) 1 run

a loopy full toss, and a No ball has been called - oh dear! Arlott gets this slower ball wrong and this ends up being a waist-high full toss. King swipes it towards deep backward square leg, and the Rockets will have a Free hit to tuck in to as well!

99
2
Arlott to King, 2 runs

takes off the pace completely and lobs this on a length outside off. King gives it the big wind-up and hoicks it towards deep mid wicket

98
Arlott to King, no run

slower bumper on middle and leg and this comes off very sluggish. King swings herself off her feet and immediately looks at the square leg umpire after missing it. Wide not called, and that should be that for the Rockets!

18 off 3. Anything other than three sixes (and extras), and Birmingham will win

97
2
Arlott to King, 2 runs

banged into the track on middle and leg. King backs away early and swats it towards deep mid wicket

King to try her luck now. TR need 20 off 4

Arlott to Nat Sciver-Brunt, OUT

beautiful catch at short fine leg, and NSB throws her head back in disappointment! Zipped into the slot on middle and off. NSB shuffles across and picks her spot past short fine leg. She seems to have done enough too until...Taylor throws herself to her right and snaffles up an incredibly sharp chance. What a day Taylor has had today, and that might be the final nail in the Rockets' coffin today!

Arlott to bowl the final set of this game

20 off 5. Five boundaries will get the job done for NSB and the Rockets...

floated up full on leg stump. Jones tugs hard at it but only manages to find the sweeper at deep mid wicket

94
1
Taylor to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 1 run

drags the length back on middle and leg. NSB waits for it and pulls it towards deep mid wicket. Just a single

22 off 7. NSB needs a boundary here

93
2
Taylor to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 2 runs

loopy full delivery on middle and off. It drops on NSB late, meaning she cannot get under it. Hacks it towards deep backward square leg for a couple of runs

92
2
Taylor to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 2 runs

full toss on the pads. NSB gets down on the sweep and drags it towards deep backward square leg for another brace

Over to the England captain. Around the wicket to her as well

91
1
Taylor to Jones, 1 run

angled in on a length on the pads. Jones brings out the sweep and shanks it towards short fine leg. Gets NSB on strike, though

Taylor to bowl out. Around the wicket. TR need 27 off 10

Schutt to Nat Sciver-Brunt, FOUR runs

NSB finds the fence! And the Rockets keep believing! Slanted into the slot on middle and leg. NSB gets her front foot out of the way and clobbers it past deep mid wicket!

Schutt to Jones, 1 run

into the blockhole on middle and leg. Jones jams down on it and digs it out into the off side

88
4
Schutt to Jones, FOUR runs

edged and four! The Rockets will take that! Speared into the blockhole outside off. Jones moves across, trying to work to leg and gets a thick outside edge that hurtles into the deep third fence!

87
1
Schutt to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 1 run

full on middle and leg. NSB backs away and drives it towards long off

86
Schutt to Nat Sciver-Brunt, no run

lbw appeal, not given! Zipped in full just outside off. NSB, having shuffled across, fails to lay bat on ball. Gets pinged on the front boot but the impact might have been outside the line. Schutt has a chat with Perry, and we go upstairs. There is clearly no bat involved but Ball Tracking, as expected, reckons the impact was outside the line. NSB stays!

37 off 15, and the Rockets are not out of this just yet. Schutt to bowl

follows up the six with a four! Back of a length outside off. NSB marches down the track, stands up tall and boshes it over mid off!

NSB up to fifty as well, but TR need a few more off her bat

84
6
Arlott to Nat Sciver-Brunt, SIX runs

thumped flat over the fence! A real long-hop and this looks like a slower ball that has gone wrong. Sits up invitingly for NSB and she butchers it over deep mid wicket!

83
1
Arlott to Jones, 1 run

short on leg stump and this seems to skid onto the batter as well. A bit of a top-edge and the ball goes on the bounce to fine leg

Will: "NSB being the first batter (Male of Female) to reach 1,000 runs in the Hundred is probably all the Rockets will take from today's match. Well batted!"

82
1
Arlott to Nat Sciver-Brunt, 1 run

hard length just outside off. NSB is a little tucked up on the swipe and cloths it towards long on
