Dhoni butchered 139 while Mahela stitched a classy ton as Asia piled up a massive total. Africa tried gamely to chase, with Kemp peppering the long on boundary, but they fell short in the end. It was party time at Chepauk; over 600 runs and 22 sixes were hit as the batsmen feasted. Rafique and Harbhajan shared seven wickets between them to check Africa.

Man-of-the-Match: Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Man of the Series: Mahela Jayawardene

Please do tune in to the England v West Indies game. That's it from me. Good bye and Good Luck.

Harbhajan to Pollock, 1 run

Asia have cleaned up the series. Full and on the stumps, Pollock backs away, drills but straight to long off. The players from both team shake hands. Mahela is out there, congratulating Rafique in particular. Celebration in the Asian camp.

Mathew again: "Highest match aggregate at Chennai, beating the 643 scored yesterday.."

Raajesh sends us a chuckle. "next time around kemp and dhoni need DGCA permission before batting....low flying aircraft are at risk"

Mathew opens the Bhaji file: "Before today's game, Harbhajan had not picked up 3 wickets or more in 17 matches.

Botha goes straight down the ground. Drills a fullish one past the bowler, the long on can't cut it down either.

driven to midwicket where the young sub , a local player, (unfortunately I can't recognise him) has a shy at the non striker's end but misses. Had it hit, there would have been a party at the young man's house.

Raghav, our scorer, points out that "All the wickets in the Asian innings were take by the pace bowlers while the spinners have cleaned up the Africans."

Harbhajan to Chigumbura, OUT

And then they were three. Chigumbura has a wild heave across the line, Harbhajan had slowed the pace of the delivery - doosra incidentally, and Chigumbura is through with his shot early and the ball goes on to disturb the timber.

Now Mathew turns into a tough schoomaster. "Chigumbura better make up for the 161 runs he has conceded in the last two games."
