Brothers Steve and Mark Waugh will be honoured during the opening of the 'Stephen and Mark Waugh Pavilion' at Bankstown Memorial Oval on Tuesday, February 8.

The Waugh twins started their senior cricket careers at Memorial Oval.

The new 'Stephen and Mark Waugh Pavilion' is part of a $1.3 million upgrade at Bankstown Memorial Oval, which is now capable of hosting first-class matches (such as Sheffield Shield).

More than 500 children will have the chance to meet Australian cricketers and be photographed with the Cricket World Cup.

Audience: National and State cricketers and administrators, politicians, Canterbury - Bankstown sporting identities, community identities, 500 school children.
