Barbados Tridents v St Lucia Zouks, Port of Spain
Our XI: Andre Fletcher (wk) , Rahkeem Cornwall, Johnson Charles, Kyle Mayers, Roston Chase, Mohammad Nabi (capt), Corey Anderson, Rashid Khan, Jason Holder, Mark Deyal, Mitchell Santner (vice-captain)
NOTE: We might not always be able to tip you off about a late injury (or other relevant) updates, so keep an eye on team news at the toss
Captain: Mohammad Nabi
Nabi has been a stellar performer for the Zouks with nine wickets and 120 runs in the tournament so far. He took 5 for 15 against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and has been the go to player for the Zouks. He has three Man of the Match awards as well.
Vice-captain: Mitchell Santner
Santner has not had to bowl a lot so far in the tournament and this could be his big game. He has taken five wickets so far at an economy of 5.20. Santner's type of bowling is perfect for these slow and dry pitches, making him a strong contender for points.
Rashid Khan: Rashid Khan has not really taken the tournament by storm but it very hard to leave him out from a Fantasy team. But this time around, he is neither captain nor vice-captain for us. Rashid has taken eight wickets but has been expensive in this tournament, conceding 7.42 runs per over. The last time these two teams met, he conceded 24 runs from two overs but took two wickets.
Rahkeem Cornwall: Cornwall has 83 runs from 59 balls in the tournament so far and he strikes at 140.67. He opens the batting and that could be make or break in terms of Fantasy points. He has not been used much with the ball.
Kyle Mayers: Mayers has been an unsung hero in this Tridents team that boasts of a few international stars. Mayers tops the run scoring charts in the league and has been very consistent. Mayers has 203 runs at an average of 33.83 from six innings.
Roston Chase: Chase has been given the perfect conditions to shine. Chase has five wickets and 156 runs so far. He plays a big role for Zouks and is the form player for them.
Points to note
- The previous game between these two teams was shortened and the Zouks won it. Nabi was Man of the Match, and Chase took two wickets. Back all the spinners again in these extremely slow and dry conditions.
