Cork signs extension

Derbyshire CCC Captain, Dominic Cork (31), has signed a one year extension to his existing contract, guaranteeing his playing future at the County Ground until at least the end of season 2005. Discussions had been ongoing for some time, and Cork has made it clear that he sees his future at Derby.

"I still feel fit enough and good enough to play beyond these three seasons and I want that to be with Derbyshire. With the current Coach, Assistant Coach, overseas player and Chief Executive I feel that this is a Club moving forward," Dominic Cork.
