Draw and prize money announced for the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Twenty20 2010

The "Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Twenty20 2010" will be played at Mission Road on 28th, 29th & 30th May 2010 with HK$50,000 prize money on offer.

The "Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Twenty 20 2010", organised by the Consulate-General of Pakistan and sanctioned by HKCA, will be played at Mission Road on 28th, 29th and 30th May 2010. This year's competition will feature the top five teams from the 2009-10 HKCA Sunday League and the China National Men's Cricket Team. Last year's champions Pakistan Association and runners-up Little Sai Wan will be competing again.

The participating teams with their groups are:

Friday 28th May - Pool "A" Pakistan Association, Little Sai Wan Cricket Club and Vagabonds Cricket Club

Saturday 29th May - Pool "B" Kowloon Cricket Club, Hong Kong Cricket Club and China National Men's Cricket Team

Sunday 30th May - Semi-finals and Final

Awards & Prizes

Teams and individuals will be playing for a total prize pool worth HK$50,000.

Champions: HK$25,000 and a trophy & 15 medals
Runner's Up: HK$15,000 and a trophy & 15 medals
Player of the Tournament: HK$5,000
Batsman of the Tournament: HK$2,500
Bowler of the Tournament: HK$2,500
Total Prize Pool: HK$50,000

Tournament Arrangements

Uniforms & Balls

The colored playing uniforms (Shirts, Trousers & Caps) will be supplied to all the participating teams. White "Grays of Cambridge" cricket balls will be used in all the matches and provided by the tournament committee.

Umpires & Scorers

HKCA will provide umpires, match referee and scorers for all the matches. The Umpire Association (ACU&S) will provide all the rules and regulation for the tournament.

Press Conference & Cocktail Reception

There will be a briefing to all the team captains, coaches & managers in a press conference on 26th May 2010 at Kowloon Cricket Club from 7PM. This will be compulsory for all the team officials to attend and Invitations will be sent out shortly. Team uniforms will be hand over to all the team managers after the press conference.

Food & Beverage

Coupons for lunch will be distributed to all the participating players and officials on the match days only. There will be a food and drinks stall in the ground and spectators will be able to make purchases using cash coupons.
