Eng Squad for Test #1 v NZ, Trent Bridge, 2-6 Jun 94

England have called up Yorkshire duo Craig White and Richard Stemp and Worcester wicket keeper Steve Rhodes for Thursday's first Test. White's call up had been widely expected in Ray Illingworth's first squad especially after his display against New Zealand in midweek. Rhodes played in the one day win over the tourists at Edgbaston and he replaces Jack Russell. Phillip DeFreitas also retains his place after the one day match but Graham Thorpe Matthew Maynard and Mark Ramprakash miss out.
