The HKCA has established an account on Twitter which it plans to use to broadcast messages and updates to its members. The HKCA's Twitter account is "CricketHK".
"We needed a way to get messages to our members quickly and Twitter seemed to be the ideal way to do this," says HKCA General Manager Danny Lai. "We hope to use Twitter to broadcast such things as general notices, score updates and results, ground closures and cancellations." he added.
HKCA members who already have their own Twitter accounts will automatically see the HKCA's tweets if they follow "CricketHK" while those without accounts will be able to see the messages by visiting the website address https://twitter.com/CricketHK.
National Coach Charlie Burke has also established his own Twitter account - HKCricketCoach.
