ICC Cricket World Cup - practice and media conference arrangements for Sunday 18 March

The following are the arrangements for all teams on 18 March

The following are the arrangements for all teams on 18 March:
  • In Group A, Australia takes on the Netherlands at Warner Park, St Kitts. Play starts at 0930. After the game there will be media conferences with both captains and the man of the match involved.
  • Also in Group A, Scotland will train at the Conaire Grounds in St Kitts and Nevis between the hours of 0900 and 1200. A media conference will be held at 1100 during practice. Please note that Scotland captain Craig Wright has returned home due to a family bereavement. The side will be led in his absence by Ryan Watson. Meanwhile South Africa is scheduled to train at Cayon, St Kitts from 0900 until 1200. A player is expected to hold a media conference after that.
  • In Group B, Bermuda will hold a training session at Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad from 0900 until 1200. Selected players are expected to hold a media conference afterwards. Bangladesh will have their practice at the Sir Frank Worrell Ground at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus from 0900 to 1200. A media conference will be held after the session.
  • Also in Group B, India will have a short practice at Queen's Park Oval from 1200 until 1300 for batsmen only. A player is expected to hold a media conference between 1300 and 1330. Sri Lanka is scheduled to train from 0900 until 1200 at Couva. A player is expected to hold a media conference after that.
  • In Group C, England will play Canada at Beausejour, St Lucia. The first ball will be bowled at 0930. Afterwards both captains and the man of the match will be present at media conferences.
  • Also in Group C, New Zealand will hold a practice session at Gros Islet, St Lucia from 0900 until 1130. Afterwards there will be a media conference involving New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming. After that, Kenya will have a training session at Gros Islet from 1400 until 1700. At 1345 sharp, there will be a media conference involving Kenya captain Steve Tikolo.
  • In Group D, the West Indies will hold a training session at Kensington Oval, Jamaica from 1200 until 1330. This will be followed by a media conference involving team captain Brian Lara. Also in Group D, Zimbabwe will train from 0900 until 1145 at Sabina Park, Jamaica. A media conference will follow immediately afterwards with team captain Prosper Utseya.
  • Following their game in Sabina Park, the Ireland and Pakistan teams have both cancelled their scheduled training session. Neither will be holding a media conference.
