There's no rest for the wicket as England and India faced off against Australia and New Zealand just days after the T20 World Cup. The champions though came off worse for wear after a 3-0 defeat to Australia, in a series so inconsequential the England captain himself called it "irrelevant". There's no easing up in the longer formats either as England brace for Tests in Pakistan and the West Indies, and South Africa have their mettle tested in Australia.
