Inaugural Asian Sixes postponed

The inaugural Asian Super Sixes Challenge 2006, which was scheduled to be held in Karachi on the weekend of September 15-16, has been postponed due to what the organizers only described as "unavoidable circumstances".

"We have informed the ICC about this development and have requested for advising us on new available dates," a spokesman explained.

Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and hosts Pakistan were due to participate in the tournament.
