New logo to mark World Cup success
To celebrate and commemorate Sri Lanka`s World Cup success the
Board of Control for Cricket in Sri Lanka is marketing a beautiful and significant new logo in addition to various promotional
items which would be of use or as a souvenir to cricket lovers as
well as others world wide.
A `World Cup `96 Promotions Committee` has been formed to reap
the benefits of this success.
The BCCSL is seeking the assistance of everyone to use the logo
for advertising or merchandising products, wherein exclusive
usage of the logo would be permitted at a fee to be negotiated.
The funds generated from this promotion will partly benefit the
cricketers of the national team and will also be utilised for the
development of cricket in all parts of the country.
