In the 42 Test Matches the two teams have played to date, inclusive of the in progress Hamilton Test, the New Zealanders have been dismissed by Pakistan thrice for low innings totals of less than 100 runs, 70 (Dacca, 1955-56), 79 (Rawalpindi, 1964-65), 93 (Hamilton, 1992-93) and on sixteen other occasions for scores of between 100 to 196 runs. On the other hand, Pakistan has a better record in this respect being dismissed by New Zealand nine times for scores between 100 to 200 runs in an innings.
