Northamptonshire Pitch Appeal - held Tuesday 30 September

The Appeal Panel comprising Mr Gerard Elias QC (Chairman), Mr Alan Wadey and Mr John Pickup heard the appeal of Northamptonshire CCC against the decision of the Pitch Panel to rate the pitch used for the Frizzell County Championship match against Worcestershire on 17-20 September as "poor".

The Appeal Panel upheld the decision of the Pitch Panel, and therefore the imposition of an 8-point penalty in respect of the "poor" pitch stands.
