Martin Saggers, the Kent and former England bowler, was denied the chance to take all 10 wickets in an innings for Kent 2nd XI.
Their match against Yorkshire at Beckenham was abandoned so the Friends Provident Trophy quarter-final between Kent and Somerset could take place, after being moved from Canterbury. Saggers had 9 for 60 when the game was stopped at lunch on the second day after taking four on a shortened first day and another five on the second.
