Sheriyar set for Leicestershire first XI

Alamgir Sheriyar could play for his old county Leicestershire this Sunday against Worcestershire, another of his previous sides. With Stuart Broad rested and other seamers unavailable, Leicestershire have included Sheriyar in their squad.

Sheriyar, the left-arm fast bowler, has been playing for Leicestershire seconds and his coach and former team-mate Tim Boon has made him an offer to stay at Grace Road for the rest of the season in a bid to shore up the seam attack.
